New Building Project

Over the years attendance at Raj Khalsa Gurdwara has increased to the point where we have completely outgrown our current rented space.

In 2006 we started looking for a better facility, hopefully a suitable existing building that we could buy located in our area. We looked at hundreds of properties and finally settled on buying raw land and building our own facility from the ground up.

By Guru's Grace, in August of 2007 we were able to purchase 1.13 acres of land on Dominion Lane in Sterling. This is a beautiful peaceful setting ideal for a Gurdwara. However, this lot alone is not large enough to have room for the building and all the parking that we will need. We need more land

Our current goal is to buy the adjacent lot to the west, which is 1.87 acres in size. The two lots combined will be large enough for our building and parking. (please see diagram)

Our primary fundraising goal is to raise $150,000.00 to cover the down payment for this second lot ($120K) and the initial engineering costs for the project ($30K).

We also must raise $3000.00 per month in additional regular monthly income flow to pay the mortgage on our second lot. We hope to raise this through pledges and EFT’s.
